Im back and Im motivated!

Well I just restarted T-25 but this time I'm doing it with a challenge group where Ill have more accountability! Its only a 21 day challenge due to Christmas, but studies say to start or break a habit you have to be consistent for 21 days. So, fingers crossed! I WILL finish! I WILL reap the rewards. :)

I'm pretty excited to be "co-hosting" I guess you could say, my first 5 days challenge. :) I'm spreading the news about health people! It feels so good to feel comfortable in my body! :)

New challenge

So my wisdom teeth are out n I think I healed pretty quickly. The pic posted below was the day after. My face was pretty gnarly but what do u expect? I have a fractured jaw with a chunk taken out and 3 teeth gone. Woot woot!
I think I'm ready to start T25 tomorrow!! I will be doing the 5 day fast start this week. I went shopping this morning and made a clean meal plan for the week. :) stoked! :)

Long time no see

So I stepped away from social media for a while. I've had a lot going on. My grandfather who turns 80 this month had a stroke and they're testing my grandmother for cancer of the liver. :( I stopped working out but continued with shakeology. I just ordered T25 and will be starting my journey with that after I heal from getting my wisdom teeth out coming up on Friday. They have to break part of my jaw so that's a little scary. I signed up for school and start on the 5th... I'm very excited about that. My weekends will be busy busy but the nice thing about t25 is that it's a 25 min workout 5days a week. Completely doable with a full schedule. :)

Day 30!!!

Well I did it!! Yesterday was day 30 of the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred! I'm going to do 35 days since I was unable to work out the weekend of August 4th but I took after pics and I am about to take measurements. I will post the results in a little while :) This was a difficult challenge and I honestly wasn't sure I would be able to do it. I wanted to give up a number of times but I pushed through and I'm so proud of myself. I don't have the results I was hoping for but I also wasn't very strict about my diet. "abs start in the kitchen"

Feeling good

Still only doing about 3/4 of level 3 but pushing myself to my limit and seeing a slight change in my body.
I'm starting a 5 day clean eating challenge tomorrow which I think will help cuz I haven't been great about my diet lately. Still drinking my shakeology everyday! :) <3

I know that I'm not going to see the difference I wanted but I've learned a lot about myself and where my weaknesses are.
"Abs start in the kitchen."
I'm motivated to continue on and keep pushing to my health n fitness goals because I do deserve to be healthy and fit. I deserve to feel amazing in my own skin. :)
Everyday that I finish my workout, drink my shakeology and chose a healthy snack over a convenient fatty snack... I feel better about myself n more proud of who I am becoming.

Dumbells

So... I finally picked up some 5lb dumbbells for this challenge. I know a lil late, but I want to finish strong!! Level 3 is still very challenging but I like the moves, they're different and fun and a serious burn!

I've also been scissor happy lately cutting up old t-shirts for workout tanks. Lookin pretty good so far! :)

Level 3

All I can say is level 3 of Jillian Michaels 30 day shred fully succeeded in kicking my ass!
I started level 3 yesterday and couldn't even get through it today. I'm so sore. Tomorrow I will pish through it no matter what! I deserve results and I won't get them if I half ass this!

Official!!!

I woke up this morning and there it was! The "you're officially a beachbody coach" email!! I'm so excited! I celebrated with my ultimate favorite shakeology (chocolate banana nutter!) and did a double workout! Jillian Michaels Level 1 30 day shred and Jillian Michaels level 2 30 day shred. I'm currently on level 2 and I start level 3 tomorrow. Eeek! I'm on the last stretch of my challenge! I can definitely feel the difference and I can kind of see some tiny changes in my body. I'm looking forward to taking my measurements on day 30.

I pushed myself in yesterdays workout and my "lower abs" are REALLY sore today but I shall push through another day! :)

I havent fotgotten

Sorry I haven't posted. I am working out again and now drinking my shakeology everyday as well! Feeling really good and stronger! :)
I have been thinking since I took a couple days off I will add it to the end of the workout. I think ill still do a pic at 30 days but I won't move on to the next workout until day 33. :)

Hello!

So I thought I posted this already but I was posting from my phone and it looks like it never went through. It still says "publishing" though so it may pop up and be redundant later.

I promised honesty and Im sad to report... I didn't work out Sunday or Monday either. I knew it was going to be busy before the wedding but I really thought Id be able to squeeze in my 25min workout. I guess I was wrong. :(

But I got home and found the shakeology shaker cup I won with the clean eating challenge I did with heallydias.blogspot.com and my months supply of shakeology that my step mom got for me! :)

So today starts a new day. I will be starting level 2 of the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred and I'm enjoying my shakeo now :)

Todays Shakeo is a jumping monkey mocha. (1 scoop choco shakeology, 1 banana and 1 cup of coffee.)

Its delish!

Monster woke up last  night crying with bad ear pain so I kept her home from school today. She said it popped and now she cant hear so we're headed to the ER. I will get my workout in when I get home. :)

Day 9

So... I promised honesty and I have to regrettably say, I did NOT get my work out in today. I'm so busy!

On a brighter note .... I found 2 new muscles today that I didn't have before. Well... the muscle was there, I just didn't know it. One is on my side (obliques?) And one is part of my calf muscle!

Day 7- Day 8

Did the workout before my road trip to my moms (5.5 hours) and I thinking woke me up for the trip!

Day 8....
Drove another 4.5 hours today and I'm staying with my best friend. Its cramped in her Appt cuz she has so many people here helping prepare for the wedding! :) I had some alone time while everyone went, so I started the video.... I didn't successfully complete it :/

Hoping to get the bride in on it tomorrow :) she just completed "tough mudder" so I'm sure she'll kick my booty.

Day 6! Continued

Ok I'm back!
I did the workout! I completed it this time and definitely felt like I pushed myself. :) My side felt a LOT better after I hydrated.

So I will be out of town for the next week but I will still be doing my workout but I may not have a lot of time to do posts. Ill try my best but if Im unable to to get on the computer I will be taking notes to add in a post when I get back next week.

Day 5 and Day 6

Late post:
Day 5... well, I didn't push myself with this workout. I mean, I finished the workout but I just didn't feel like I was pushing myself. I wasn't as out of breath, I wasn't as sweaty and I wasn't feeling it. It felt like a lazy workout.

Then for dinner I had an enormous burrito. I figured I haven't "cheated" in a couple weeks so I could have the burrito.



Day 6... I really need to push myself today.
I dropped Monster off at school and was so dead tired thanks to Monkey who thinks its cool to wake up every hour and cry and cry and cry. :( I went back to bed as soon as I got home because monkey fell asleep. She and I stayed asleep til almost 11. I feel like Ive wasted my day! I like to get my workout overwith before 9. So I got out of bed, got some coffee, set some salmon aside with marinade and got to the workout.

I don't know If its that burrito I had or what but I have an awful sharp pain in my right side. It feels like a running cramp but closer to my hip and its only when Im doing jumping jacks.
So I got through half the workout and gave up.

Right now I am hydrating and Im going to start the workout over (feels like cheating if I do half, take a long break and then do the other half... I need to do the video in full.)

So... I will post again possible after I pick up Monster from school.

Day 4!

Well I woke up this morning and went over to spend time with my grandparents. I should have woken up earlier and worked out but I didn't and my grandma was in the hospital with congestive heart failure a couple weeks ago so her and my gpa are a priority in my life.

No excuses, I should have woken up earlier, mostly because starting your day with a workout is the best way to  jump start your metabolism for the whole day and because you get it over with! Regardless, when I came home (around 6pm) I did the workout! :) Its getting easier. Still pretty sore but its never been an unbearable soreness. Its a twinge that reminds me I'm getting stronger.

26 days to go! Better than 30! :)

And my step mom ordered me shakeology for my birthday!!! :) YAY!

Day 3!

Fewf.... Saturday morning. I did NOT want to get out of bed this morning and I am sure sore! But I did it. I got up! I stayed in my pj's, got my ice water to wake me up, asked my 5 yr old to hop in the crib with my 6 month old and keep her company and pressed play on the DVD player. I was really tight this morning but I powered through and finished the video. I wanted so badly to give up half way through but I stuck it out.
I got a little extra work out today when I went to the beach n ended up walking about mile carrying my 6 month old in a car seat cuz I couldn't find where my crew was.
Feeling pretty sore but ready for tomorrow!

27 days to go! Better than 30! :)

Day 2 - Crushed it!

So I'm not gonna lie, after I dropped Monster off at school today I wanted to badly to crawl back into bed... just one more hour?? But somehow I was able to talk myself out of it... even with an adorable sleeping baby in the same room. I decided to knock out my work out. I was a little sore from yesterday but I didn't let that stop me. Now I didn't completely keep up... I did take a couple breathers/water breaks and may have said "this chick is nuts" a few times, but I powered through and completed it.
I was awake after that! :)

28 days to go! Better than 30.

Day 1:
I had a yummy breakfast. Scrambled eggs with black beans, avocado and a banana.
Did a yoga warm up and then Jillian Michaels 30 day shred level 1. I did it without free weights because I have none at the moment. It was hard and my limbs feel heavy and shaky.
I think Ill go for a walk later this evening.

Took down day 1 like a boss!

I think Im getting this finally

Hello,
So here is my first challenge for my blog!!!

I've decided to dedicate 30 days to Jillian Michaels 30 day shredder home work out. (And clean eating)
I will start tomorrow morning by taking a before picture and taking measurements. At the end of the 30 days I will post the before and after picture together.
I will be ordering shakeology in September and I am becoming a beachbody coach as of August.

This page will be a place for me to track my journey with getting healthy. I will be honest but also try to stay positive. I know there will be times when I plateau, get frustrated, want to give up or just REALLY want something I know I shouldn't have. I want to be honest about my journey and I hope to inspire you the reader. :)

I will also be posting my pride and struggles with being a mom of 2 girls and dealing with a deployment.

I imagine that will be one of my biggest obstacles with this lifestyle change because lets face it... when we're stressed out or sad, some of us just want to dive head first into some ben n jerrys.

First Post!

Just testing this out.

My goals for this blog are to share my experiences with eating clean, working out, raising two kids and being a military spouse.

Once I figure out my way around this site, I plan to post recipes,  fitness plans and or workout videos I'm trying, before and after photos, struggles and rejoices of motherhood and being a military wife.
And possibly crafts.... we'll see ;)
